Catchin' Up

I went on a date a few weeks ago and i have been meaning to put up pictures, but i just hadn't gotten around to it. It was a triple date with my friends Lori and Alex. My date was Charley. Lori's date was Sev, and Alex's date was Buddy. We went out to eat at a fabulous little restuarant named Mi Concina's, in downtown Fort Worth with amazing Mexican food. Then we hung out in Barnes & Noble for a while. We looked at books. Played on the esclator, and played a few silly games while waiting. We were actually being kind of a little loud because we were laughing so much, but *shrug* it's not a library. Then we went to a comedy club named "Four Day Weekend." It was pretty funny. Overall I had a really good time. :)

New Mexico, Part III: Pond Skimming

On the last day of our ski trip they had a event at Sipapu called Pond Skimming. They basically dig a huge hole at the bottom of one of the trails and fill it with water. Then they have skiers/snowboarders come down the mountain and try to skim across it. You may be asking yourself why people would do this. I mean the water is very cold. Actually there was snow and ice floating in the water from time to time, if that gives you any indication. And on top of that most of them went without shirts or in shorts, or in one case with a teal leotard and hot pink wig on. Yep that's right. People are crazy. Most made it all the way across and back out the other side without going in. A few didn't though, and in one case i got very wet videoing.
