Lincoln

I went to visit my very favorite Amy in Lincoln, Nebraska. Before i left, when i was telling people that i was going on vacation, they would ask where i was going. I would tell them Nebraska. Every single one of them would give me the strangest look, like "what?! what kind of a vaction spot is that?" but i go where my friends are. even if that takes me to Nebraska (and makes me drive through the dreaded Kansas...ugh!) I went for my birthday weekend. It was nice to get away for a few days and just relax. I got a lot of extra sleep, which was much needed (really! i dont sleep in Texas). We did lots of fun thing (well, fun to us, don't make fun ;) ). We played at the park with her two little girls. Went running. Made bread. Made cobbler (which i left in the oven way too long and practically melted...oops! but still was delicious), skyped with Hannah and Nicole ( i miss you guys). Did yard work. Ran errands. Went to the Winter Quarters Temple in Omaha (actually Florence). Watched New Moon (in fast forward). Played with two of the cutest little girls ever. Went to church. etc. It was a great trip and i was excited to see Amy again. And meet Hanna for the first time.

On our way to the park. Hallie is actually smiling. Yes!

I got Hallie to smile in this picture (i'm not sure how) and once i told Hallie thanks for smiling, she gave me the crustiest look. lol. It was so funny. Hallie is a super happy girl in real life, but she hates to smile for pictures. Not sure why.
Hallie and Hallie's Al (that's what she calls me)

Amy and I at the Temple!

Hanna. This is a classic face. I seriously laugh everytime i see this picture. Every time!

Credit

I can't believe it's been over a month since i have blogged! sorry guys! i have been super busy. I check my email every now and then. and respond on occasion. but that is about the extent of my free time on the computer.

Some exciting news...i paid off all my credit cards!!! yeah, i did. its been like 4 years w/ that stupid credit card debt! so, yea for me. i kind of wanted to celebrate and buy myself something but decided against it, realizing that is part of the reason i had credit card debt in the first place. i feel like i have graduated into being an adult now. well, just a little bit. i can finally start saving money! i'm stoked! oh...and it was on my new year's resolution list to pay off my credit cards! i think i have checked off 3 things on that list so far for the year. usually i am really bad about new year's resolutions, but i am doing good so far. only like 6 more to go.
