I went to Lindsey Forbes-Hetzel-Ganor's wedding shower awhile ago. Sarah Forbes was (of course) there, and the few pictures she got of me, i am once again making crazy faces. but there is a story this time. First...notice the cupcake tree.Awwwh, cute picture! But later i pick up one of the cupcakes to eat it, right? i take one bite of it and Sarah comes over and says to me..."ooooohhh, no! those cupcakes are for a game later!" i am sure the look on my face was priceless (although not captured). so i put the cupcake back half eaten.
She then told me she was just kidding, but not before she could capture this picture...Clearly i am not the culprit. you got nothing on me!!! i am a dork!

the many faces of Al
I am not really sure why, but the phonomenon happens usually when i am around Sarah Forbes. While she is present, i make the crazyiest faces. i am not sure why i do it. i think it is because she can make some pretty great faces too. Maybe i am trying to be as cool as her. which by the way, i am super jealous of her hair every time i see it! here are some prime examples...

Nicole and the "Necklace Experiement"
I like to remember the good old days when videos were made on a regular basis of moments when we were temporarily insane. In the following three videos Nicole is on a high from going running. I, apparently, am just enjoying the craziness!
Keep watching, it gets even better....
The best is yet to come!!!!!

Christmas
Christmas has never been one of my favorite holidays, but i am warming up to it. Two years ago my roommate (Alisha) and i got a real tree for our apartment. it was my first real tree. we named him Thomas, and i loved him. i decided that i was going to get a real tree again this year (even though it is in my lease that i am not allowed to have them...oops!) some friends (who shall remain nameless for their own protection) helped me smuggle a tree in under the cover of nightfall. i decorated it later...
Ranch Explosion
This video is probably one of my favorite memories living in the Elizabeth Street house with Nicole. I am not really sure what i was thinking, but i am sure glad we got it on video.
Note: While viewing notice how quiet Nicole is until she gasps for air because she has been laughing so hard!
Enjoy!!

Japanese Sucker Table
Let me preface this story with "I am not really smart sometimes." So being the non criminal version of Martha Stewart, I decided one day that i needed a craft table to do my projects on. (i usually sit on the floor to complete these said projects.) I decided on a short table so i could continue to sit on the floor. i thought to myself, "they don't make short tables for crafts...so i will have to build one." (that is a very Martha thing to do) so i went to Low's, retrieved all the necessary objects and proceeded to put the table together. as i was building it, i got really excited about how i could do other things with my "short table." i could eat at it. i could make other people eat at it too. it could be a Japanese style table!!! i thought i was pretty brilliant. i mean, who has Japanese tables at their house? who really eats on the floor? i mean really? once i was finished putting the table together, i stepped back to look at my work. i looked at the table, then i looked at the sofa it was sitting in front of, and then back to my "short, Japanese table." then the light finally went on. i had created a COFFEE TABLE!!! everyone has one of those! everyone! I still call it my Japanese table, and i laugh at myself for building a table that i could have very easily bought anywhere...it was fun though. As a sidenote, i covered the top in dumdum sucker wrappers since i work at a bank.
